For over a decade we have collaborated with Anglo American on their award-winning reporting, consistently seeking avenues for improvement and innovation. This commitment remains steadfast as we navigate the challenges of mindful disclosure within the mining industry, known for its extensive regulations worldwide.

Our collaboration has been instrumental in the evolution of Anglo American’s reporting, transitioning towards an integrated reporting suite available in print and online. In 2021, our transition to the Workvia workflow made a significant impact, marking a ground-breaking achievement in the industry. We successfully demonstrated that an entire FTSE100 Annual Report could be produced using Workiva, without any design compromises.

Each subsequent year, we have refined our process and schedule, integrating new Workiva capabilities whilst upholding our commitment to attention to detail. We’ve closely engaged with their communications teams to effectively activate content. Additionally, our partnership extended to the development of their recent Climate Change Report, wherein we provided consultancy support for both disclosures and communications. Anglo American has leveraged the capabilities of Workiva’s platforms to manage financial information and enhance the efficiency of assurance processes.

Just a few years ago, the notion of publishing five separate reports simultaneously would have seemed impossible. Yet, the seamless integration of data and content across this comprehensive suite of reports highlights the remarkable capabilities of Workiva, Salterbaxter and the Anglo American team – demonstrating just what's achievable.
